Dedicated to The Chief **

The new venue. Everyone was looking forward to seeing it and breaking it in Drum Show style.

For the first time in many years load in day was a little on the rainy side.

The Drum Collector comin' through...wrist band, badge, lanyard, black track suit, check book...
Stand back ladies...

Mr. Rupp doin' the Sabian thing

Jim Catalano... "I'm too old for this!"

Clean, dry, well it and well ventilated...setting up in drum show heaven.

My good friend Curt Waltrip of Joyful Noise

Victor's look says it all "Hey Paparazzi, grab a box willya?"

Kevin, Victor and Chuck luggin' the Ludwigs....

Exhibitors were treated to a very cool post-set up event:
A private screening of Ludwig's 100th Anniversary DVD.

Buy this DVD today. Failure is not an option.

Kevin Packard (aka Kpax) introduces the Ludwig family...

Kevin Packard, Bill Ludwig III, Kanye West, Dick Shorey, Jim Catalano, Grant Henry
Kevin's moment was marred by Kanye West who interupted the introudction ceremony
when he jumped in from behind the stage saying "Kevin, I'll let you finish, but I just want to say
that Beyonce made the best 100th Anniversary DVD ever!."

And the extedned family! Bun E., Bermuda, Rob Cook, Kpax, B3, Jim Catalano, ? and Todd Trent.

Playing to packed theaters everywhere.

The next morning the show opens with an appropriate vintage Ludwig Bomber kit.

Boom Alley's David Hanzel showing of a class piece of work.

Camco - lots of great Camco product at the show.

If you like this kit you'll love the new George Way kits
scheduled to arrive in 2010.

Some beautiful examples of Ludwig Super Senstives, these signed by The Chief.

The consignment area - plenty of great stuff.

The legendary Johnny Craviotto...and we get to call him Johnny.

It doesn't get any classier or more classic than this.

Joe, um, why are you winking at me?

This Slingerland kit belonged to the one and only
Barrett Deems. Dig the copper plated hardware.

Diril Cymbals. Great logo, great cymbals.
