This year's dinner was really a special event. Not only is it our 6th time around, but this was also the largest group we had ever assembled. We had members fro mas far away as Koln, the UK and even farther - like uh, Newfoundland. No one left hungry, no one left thirsty and no one left withut having a few laughs and the enjoyment of some great company. The Drumsmith.com dinner has become one of the "hot tickets" for Thursday night after show fun.

Since we're on the theme of identity I think it's only appropriate to consider what it is that makes this particular forum what it is. Try as I might I can't really put my finger on it. Have a look at the pics from the evenings festivities...maybe it will come to you.

Missing from this year's dinner our good friend and Hollywood Custom & Vintage Drum Show producer Kerry Crutchfield.

Dave of Just Drums (Toronto) joins in with Neil Longo and his wife (Longo Drums)

It may be his first drumsmith dinner but Rich Caruso (Carusso Music) has obviously done this before.

Bermuda says..."We're gonna need a bigger boat"

Freshly baptised Ludwig endorser and autograph singer Bermuda along with Lindy Loo ( Chad Sexton's Drum City), Joe Voda and Paul Mason (Tempus Drums)

He's angry. He's Italian. He's drinking lemonade.
The one, the only Al Adinolfi (Boom Theory) makes his return to NAMM.

Bermuda moves in for the kill.

Best pals Dunnett and Mason. Joe performs an air guitar solo in the background.?

Jimmy Ford (Ford Drums). Have you driven a FORK lately?

Drumsmith moderator "Fill" on the attack.

Nick's understudy (and recent groom) Greg Gaylord was on the receiving end of everyone's premature birthday wishes.

It's OK Greg - there's no meat in Cheesecake.

It is worth mentioning that the lovely young lady seated next to Greg is not his
new bride - just a friend visiting the show.

Team Pearl / Mass Music. Always great to see Gene and crew.

More...and more...and more

Identity. Continuity. Quality. Passion. Ford.
Jimmy Ford and Jay Gaelen have literally driven new comer Ford drums to the top of their class in an incredibly short period of time. Basically, these guys get it.
